Ogham Wish

The Ogham alphabet is the earliest form of writing in Ireland.  Originally inscribed on standing stones, it consists of 20 linear characters read from bottom to top.  Many of these stones can still be found in Ireland and date from 400 AD.  Some are even much older.  

Ogham Wish is a beautifull hand made gift.  Each piece is hand painted by Irish artist Ethel Kelly.  Her workshop is located in Knockcroghery, County Roscommon, Ireland.

Our family is very proud to consider Ethel a friend and have visited her in her workshop located in the Claypipe Workshop.  We have had Ogham Wishes in our store for over 35 years and absolutely love the product.
