Premium Blended Black Tea with Blackcurrent berries. Blackcurrant is a shrub that is native to parts of temperate northern Europe.  It is found in the UK and Ireland and its berries are used in baking, preserves, beverages and other foods.  Considered healthy because it has high levels of antioxidants, the berries contain several nutrients including polyphenolic substances, anthocyanin and gamma-linolenic acid.  The tea has a rich berry flavor.
